Description

This OTPS provides the interface hardware to enable the SAS Amplifier to be tested by the SCATS. This OTPS is used to determine the problem with the SAS amplifier and after repair or manufacture of the SAS amplifier to assure it meets the design requirements and is functioning properly.

Individual user certification through the SRA process.

The SCATS SAS Amplifier Test Platform is used to troubleshoot SAS Amplifier PNs 70901-02908-103 and -104 and PNs 70901-21908-103 and -104. In addition to identifying faults at the circuit card assembly level, the test platform also:

• Provides complete instructions for test setup and procedures. Indicates Pass or Fail for all tests.
• Generates reports that can be viewed, saved, and printed by the user.
• Includes a self-test to verify that all hardware is functioning properly.
