Warranty Policy

One-Year Limited Warranty

ULTRAX Aerospace products are warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for 410 days from the date of shipment. Within this period, ULTRAX will, at its sole option, repair or replace any components that fail in normal use. Such repairs or replacement will be made at no charge to the customer for parts or labor, provided that the customer shall be responsible for the inbound freight transportation cost to ULTRAX. ULTRAX is responsible for the outbound freight transportation cost back to the customer, CONUS only. This warranty does not apply to: (1) cosmetic damage, such as scratches, nicks, or dents: (2) consumable parts, unless product damage has occurred due to a defect in workmanship or materials; (3) damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, flood, fire, or other acts of nature or external causes; (4) damage caused by service performed by any party who is not an authorized service provider of ULTRAX Aerospace services; or (5) damage to an ULTRAX manufactured product that has been modified or altered without the written permission of ULTRAX Aerospace.

Repairs have a 90-day warranty. If the unit returned to ULTRAX is still under its original warranty, then the new warranty is 90 days or to the end of the original one-year warranty, depending upon which is longer.

ULTRAX Aerospace owns all parts removed from repaired products with the exception of those parts, which must remain property of the United States Government due to security requirements. ULTRAX uses new and, from time to time, remanufactured parts in performing warranty repairs and building of replacement products.

SCATS (Software Configurable All Purpose Test Sets): This warranty does not cover any items that are added to an ULTRAX system after the system is shipped from ULTRAX, i.e. accessories or parts that are not installed by ULTRAX during the time of manufacture.

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE (OR JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION. ULTRAX AEROSPACE, INC’S RESPONSIBILITY FOR MALFUNCTIONS AND DEFECTS IN HARDWARE IS LIMITED TO REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT AS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT. ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH ABOVE, AND NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY AFTER SUCH PERIOD. SOME STATES (OR JURISDICTIONS) DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

DOES NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT OR LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY LIABILITY FOR PRODUCTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE. SOME STATES (OR JURISDICTIONS) DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

To obtain warranty service, contact ULTRAX Aerospace for shipping instructions and an RMA tracking number. Securely pack the device for return to ULTRAX. Clearly indicate the RMA number on the outside of the package. Send the device, freight charges prepaid, to ULTRAX Aerospace.

 

To Obtain Warranty Service Complete the Following Steps:

  • Contact ULTRAX Aerospace Customer Service to receive an RMA number

Email or call an ULTRAX Customer Service Specialist at 816.214.9999 to describe the issue and request a return material authorization (RMA) number. You will be asked to provide the device’s serial number, your return shipping address, and a valid daytime telephone number and email address.

  • Ship the unit, along with the RMA number, to ULTRAX

Once you have received the RMA number, ship the unit (insured) to the following address:
